Our flight landed around 1pm Hawaii time and after getting our rental car we headed straight for some shave ice. My research had lead me to Ululani’s Shave Ice in Kihei. It was the perfect place because it was on the way to our Airbnb rental and it is located across the street from the beach; you can’t get much better than that!

After that quick pit stop we headed on our way to our rental which was amazing! It is located on a half-acre lot that was beautifully landscaped! This was our first time using a service like Airbnb and I hope our future stays are as good as this one was! After getting our key and unloading we headed to the grocery store for some breakfast and lunch items. **Travel Tip: Try and ask if you can get the “member card” at any grocery store because these member prices are MUCH lower than the regular, tourist price.**

After getting those back to our rental we headed into the heart of Kihei where we spent the rest of our evening walking through Kalama Beach Park and had dinner at the Paia Fish Market in Kihei. We watched our first sunset of the trip off the rocks of the park before we headed “home” for the night.
